Okay, so only Metro, the local city paper, but still backing up the thoughts and processes of Qualify Me....
http://www.metro.co.uk/news/855389-38-of-graduates-blame-courses-for-being-on-dole
All about how 38% of students who have qualified are now on the dole, and blame set courses for this. Point in point. Is it the courses, or lack of guidance provided to young 18 year olds that cause the problems? Is it the fact that people who are writing and have expertise in the courses, which provide the ultimate qualifications, are dated and too old for the times that are moving at break-neck speed?
Too much? I am not sure. What we do know is the labour government insisted on making 50% of all young people graduates, ensuring courses were produced to make this happen to the cross sector society of young people needing a degree (for sure, a degree will get you a job post-uni), therefore pointless courses created, pointless degree's succeeded, people out of jobs... 38% of all uni graduates agreeing....
